Nearly $2 Billion Worth of U.S. Military Equipment Destroyed in First Four Days of Strikes  against Iran – Anadolu Agency

According to data compiled by Anadolu, nearly $2 billion worth of U.S. military equipment was destroyed in the first four days of U.S. operations against Iran. The losses include SATCOM terminals, F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets, and various radar systems.

A major incident contributing to the loss was the destruction of the AN/FPS-132 early warning radar system at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, valued at approximately $1.1 billion. In addition, three F-15E Strike Eagles were destroyed on Sunday due to friendly fire from Kuwait’s air defense system.

Iranian attacks targeted the U.S. Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain, Camp Arifjan and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, Camp Buehring, Erbil Air Base in Iraq, Jebel Ali Port in the UAE, and Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

Satellite imagery analysis revealed signs of fire and smoke at Jebel Ali Port in Dubai, Erbil International Air Base, and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.

Among the drone attacks, U.S. diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE were also targeted. Two drone attacks in Riyadh caused minor damage. The drone and missile attack on the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait City was described as “severe,” leading to a temporary closure of the embassy. A drone attack also occurred in the parking lot of the U.S. Consulate in Dubai, but the fire was quickly brought under control.

Total Assessment: Iran has inflicted approximately $1.902 billion in damages to U.S. military assets in the region.
