Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the country’s President Masoud Pezeshkian are alive and in good health, Tehran has confirmed. The statement comes amid ongoing regional tensions and recent security incidents that have fueled speculation in international media regarding their safety.

In an interview, a journalist from ABC News asked whether Ayatollah Khamenei and President Pezeshkian had become targets following recent attacks and whether the Supreme Leader would remain in power in the future.
Responding to the query, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said, “By the grace of God, they are all alive and in good health.”
According to analysts, the remarks appear aimed at dispelling rumors surrounding the security of Iran’s top leadership. At the same time, Tehran is seeking to project a message of internal stability amid heightened regional uncertainty.
Military and diplomatic tensions across the Middle East remain unresolved.
